Yukon Species at Risk Act Public Consultation Now Underway

Yukon's wildlife management policies and practices have been done to date in co-ordination with federal legislation for species at risk. The Government of Yukon is now in a position to deliver on a long-standing commitment to establish a Yukon Species at Risk Act that accomplishes the same goal but with the full involvement of concerned Yukoners and explicit recognition of First Nation Final Agreements.
