Celebrate Earth Day 2009
in Whitehorse
Come to the Elijah Smith Building (in downtown Whitehorse) to see displays in the Atrium, watch movies in Room 2C, try out the electric bikes (3 pm), and meet the department Green Teams (1:30 pm Room 2C)
Wednesday, April 22nd -- 10 am to 3 pm
Earth Day events are organized and/or supported by: government green teams, Raven Recycling, Energy Solutions Centre, CPAWS, Council of Canadians, Northern Climate ExChange, local researchers and many more.
