Bird banding at the Teslin banding station with Ben Schonewille. Meet at the Gov. Campground 10 km west of Teslin at 8:00 am. (~3-4 hours or until the station closes for the day). Please phone ahead as station may be closed due to inclement weather.. If the weather is unacceptable on May 24, an alternate date will be Sunday 1 June.

Guided Hikes to explore alpine, tundra, beringian and boreal plant communities in Tombstone Territorial Park. Workshops in Life Drawing and Plant Identification. Presentations by expert Botanists starting Friday night 7 pm. Premier of the Sweet clover Eradication Program for the Dempster Highway.

Swan Haven Interpretation Centre is OPEN!

Take part in this Yukon spring tradition. Join a viewing walk with interpreters and find out how the migration is unfolding, bring a picnic or relax on a viewing deck. Inside you'll find interpretive displays and information about the birds found here in the spring. Book your class for a fun, structured school program (everyday except Wednesdays) or your public group for Wednesday tour. Be sure to vote for your favourite youth art piece from around the Yukon.
